About Us
Nebraska Pharmacy Foundation (NPF)
The Nebraska Pharmacy Foundation (NPF) was organized in 1985 as a nonprofit entity exclusively and solely for scientific and educational purposes to further the welfare, knowledge and integrity of the profession of pharmacy and for the enhancement of public health and welfare.
The NPF exists to benefit the charitable works of the NPA. The NPF annually provides scholarships to pharmacy students at the University of Nebraska College of Pharmacy and Creighton University School of Pharmacy.
The NPF has established a Memorial Fund to honor,as requested by family, those pharmacists who have passed away. In addition, the NPF's General Fund is designed to accept monetary gifts, and donations in "honor of" or in "memory of" individuals or occasions. Memorial Funds in the names of Warren Anderson and Dyke Anderson have been established.
Future goals of the foundation are to increase the number of pharmacy scholarships, develop funding for grants for innovative pharmacy practices and projects, and build a Nebraska Pharmacy Museum.
