Dr. Haley Pertzborn Appointed New NPA Chief Executive Officer She will serve the membership as an energetic professional, bringing experience and passion to this pivotal role. A native of Bondurant, Iowa, Dr. Pertzborn graduated from Drake University in 2023 with a PharmD and a concentration in Global and Comparative Public Health. Her academic journey was marked by dedication and excellence, reflecting her global engagement in advancing public health. Dr. Pertzborn demonstrated her commitment to the profession through various internships throughout her education. Notably, she served as a Quality Assurance Intern at Outcomes MTM, where she honed her skills in ensuring pharmaceutical quality and patient safety. During an internship, she also contributed her expertise to the Iowa Public Health Association, further solidifying her understanding of public health principles and practices. Dr. Pertzborn'sjourney with the NPA began as an Executive Fellow, where she exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and a keen aptitude for project management, member engagement, and policy development. Her fellowship with the NPA has been characterized by innovation, strategic vision, and a pursuit of excellence. She has continued working part-time at CVS to feed her passion for patient care. She is a dedicated individual, ready to serve the pharmacy profession.
