Bowl of Hygeia
Sponsored by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation and the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA), the award is presented annually by participating state pharmacy associations, including those in the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. In addition to service through their local, state, and national pharmacy associations, award recipients devote their time, talent, and resources to various causes and community service.
Award Criteria
- compiled an outstanding record of community service through community service or support
- devoted their time, talent, and resources to a wide variety of causes and community service
- credible role model, both professionally and personally, to their community, other pharmacy professionals, residents, and pharmacy students
- exceeds expectations of their practice or profession
- current member of the NPA
- licensed pharmacist in Nebraska
- not currently serving, nor has served within the immediate past two years as an officer of the NPA in other than an ex-officio capacity
Pharmacy Technician of the Year
Sponsored by the Nebraska Pharmacists Association, this award recognizes an individual's dedication to the essential role of Pharmacy Technician. The recipient demonstrates outstanding service to their patients and community while contributing to the advancement of pharmacy practice and the profession.
